Gasket Specifications

Gaskets are placed between two adjoining pieces of port glass or positioned around gauge glass to ensure that liquid and hot gases do not escape the boiler. Gaskets prevent unwanted leakage and thereby allow the boiler to operate at optimal efficiency.

United Hardware Mart offers wide range of gaskets for boilers. The dimensions of the gasket must be matched to the dimensions of the gauge glass. Gaskets are made from CAF sheets or graphite plates resistant to temperatures upto 450 °C and the pressure to 150 bar. Popular materials are asbestos-free sealing
